- Go digital whenever possible; Reduce use of DVD disc, Digibeta tapes, etc.
- Minimize travel
- Limit mailing of materials
- Transmit digitally whenever possible
- Recycle video footage & photography; use stock where appropriate
- Reduce use of paper products throughout the production process. (Example: No pre-pro books, minimal paper-impact during pre and post production)
- Create a healthy environment for people throughout the production process: Provide sustainably-grown eating choices at the craft services tables., supply reusable water containers, minimize use of non-biodegradable plastics, etc.
- Use environmentally friendly production and editorial companies
- Use Renewable energy or purchase Renewable Energy Credits for production
- Donate anything left after production: clothing and food especially, but also props
- Leave the shoot location in the same shape (or better) than it was before production
