Union Green is what happens when a sheep-herder, birder, conservation-minded, advertising professional decides to find some way to help our planet. Nelson Martinez founded Union Green with a simple idea in mind; who better to communicate to the world the issues confronting our planet than a group of dedicated communications experts, who all share a passion for the preservation and conservation of the natural world?
A founding partner and CEO of Union Green, and its sister agency Union, Nelson has developed creative and strategic campaigns for numerous national and international brands such as: Sony Electronics, Miller Brewing, Domino's Pizza, the NFL, Verizon and KFC. Nelson was a pioneer in using entertainment to build brands in the age of the Internet, cable networks and DVR. He founded Union to provide clients with top-notch creative that breaks through the clutter of an increasingly crowded marketplace.
Recognition for his work includes the 2004 Mark Awards; the AICP, the One Club, the London International Ad Awards; the Addy's, the Effies, Cannes International Festival, the Clios, Communication Arts Annual (CA), Adweek, AdAge, Archives and Creativity's Best Spots of the Year and Shoot's East Coast Creative Director of the Year.

As a founding partner and President of Union Green. Bob has 25 years of experience inventing and reinventing global brands at agencies like Leo Burnett and Young and Rubicam as a Managing Partner. He understands how to position brands strategically from his work on many Fortune 500 brands like Accenture, Cadbury Schweppes, Citibank, Dannon, Xerox, United Airlines, United Distillers Group. Bob developed strategic positioning and creative leadership on many pro bono programs like the National Disaster Search Dog Foundation and the NHTSA. His work has been recognized by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Andy's, The One Club, and the Effies. His work has been published in Graphis, Communication Arts, Adweek, Advertising Age and the New York Times.

JOYCE DORRIS - Managing Director
As Managing Director of Union Green Joyce brings a unique, results-oriented, client-side, Earth-respectful perspective developed over 15 years of leading marketing organizations. She has created break-through consumer brands in both large-company and start-up scenarios. Joyce was co-founder and chief marketing officer of the second largest Internet phone company. Earlier, she led MCI's Consumer Markets division, which served 15 million customers, and successfully repositioned MCI beyond long distance service into the nation's largest competitive local phone provider. Joyce believes environmentally-responsible leadership is as much part of next-generation marketing as digital communication and fresh brand messages. The CMO's challenge is to achieve more for less and to do it with a conscience.
